LOCATION: Los Angeles, LA. BMI has transitioned back to working in the office on a regular hybrid schedule. At present, most team members are expected in the office three (3) days a week, with the anticipation that days in the office will increase.  Decisions regarding future transitions will take place in phases as BMI continues to closely monitor COVID-19 as employee safety is our priority. 

The Creative Latin department is seeking energetic, dedicated and creative current college or university students to join our team as paid Interns this summer.  The candidate will support the creative Latin team with market research, development, and maintenance of music playlist, in addition to day-to-day activities of the creative team. The intern will be tasked with doing market research (social media analytics, Billboard charts, streaming analytics) and help develop a list of emerging songwriters for our creative team. The intern will also be fielding questions from songwriters and publishers from our general customer service inbox, they will be responsible for helping affiliates with general account information and delegating request to our creative team accordingly.

Qualification Requirements: 
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university as an undergraduate student
  • Must return to school in the Fall of 2024
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Preferred areas of study: Talent management /Digital Marketing/Music Business
  • Organizational skills
  • Must be bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • Excellent writing skills in both languages
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize multiple assignments to meet deadlines. 
Salary: $18.00 per hour. The specific hourly rate offered to a successful applicant will be based on individual qualifications, skills, experience and education.
