Description
POSITION SUMMARY: Supports the Creative team in L.A. by performing the following duties:

Essential Functions:
  • Act as the point person for the Creative team by collecting and preparing account documentation on behalf of executives.
  • Maintain and monitor affiliation process and account status updates, compiling appropriate documentation and preparing reports
  • Compile and maintain updated lists and spreadsheets of accounts. Monitor and manage the execution of new agreements across internal departments. 
  • Prepare advances and board deals: act as point person for LA Creative team by collecting and preparing advances and board deals on behalf of these executives.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments on daily management of accounts. Track and drive completion of key deliverables and follow up on outstanding items as needed. 
  • Track industry competitive trends and best practices and reporting insights to the Creative team. 
  • Responds to a substantial amount of phone calls and email inquiries of wide-ranging and complex issues and correctly resolve. 
  • Support affiliates through phone calls, e-mails and meetings.
  • Represent the L.A Creative executives at local shows and any other particular shows, when they are not able to attend.
  • Special project work, including compiling account information as needed; organizing and analyzing data, PowerPoint presentations for departmental meetings
  • Relieves receptionist, as directed.
  • Regular attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: Minimum three (3) years of administrative experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Time management, organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple assignments to meet tight deadlines
  • Great attention to detail
  • Strong typing and proofreading skills
  • Bilingual preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience working with and maintaining database systems and reports, as well as word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Able to establish a constructive and informative relationship with employees, management, writers and publishers
  • Ability to interact professionally with a diverse employee population, and with all levels of staff and management
  • Able to work independently and with good judgment
  • Working knowledge of the music industry
